Grand Cayman Restaurant Guide
There is no shortage of restaurants in Grand Cayman. From fine dining to roadside fish fries, here is a list of our favorites all within a 30 minute drive from A Mid-Winter Night’s Dream vacation condo in the Rum Point area. Most of these establishments are in North Side, East End and Bodden Town.
Italian Kitchen
Located in the Morritt's Plaza in East End, the Italian Kitchen will satisfy your cravings for pasta and seafood. Open for dinner 5pm - 9pm every day except Monday. Dine in, take out, or delivery.
The Lighthouse
The Lighthouse in Cayman is an iconic restaurant with stunning views over the water and an outstanding menu that features a creative mix of fresh, local seafood and Italian cuisine.
Over The Edge Cafe
Sit outside on the patio and enjoy the incredible view as the waves lap the shore beneath you. Stop for a quick drink or stay for a meal. The Edge has a nice variety of entrees to choose from: fish, steak, conch, lobster, chicken and burgers.
Tukka Restaurant, Grand Cayman
For a taste of Australia with a Caribbean twist, look no further than Tukka Restaurant and Bar. The freshest daily catch supplied by our local fishermen regularly includes Yellow Fin Tuna, Mahi-Mahi, Wahoo, Snapper, Lion Fish and (when in season) the delicious Caribbean spiny Lobster. Yum! Also, check out the daily Frigate Bird feedings around 5pm during happy hour.
South Coast Bar and Grill
South Coast Bar and Grill offers a wide variety of dishes with a great beachfront view. The menu includes burgers, steak, lobster, and pasta. Sit indoors, out on the balcony, or down on the beach. Opening at 11am daily serving up breakfast, lunch and dinner.
Rum Point Club
Rum Point is more than just a restaurant (actually 2 restaurants). It is one of the most beautiful and popular spots on the island to relax, swim and watch a sunset. Also, water toy rentals, trips to Sting Ray City, and sunset cruises.
Kaibo Yacht Club
The Kaibo is a wonderful place for lunch, dinner, or just stop in for drinks. Dance on the beach to live music every Tuesday evening. Fine dining is available at Kaibo Upstairs. It has a breezy atmosphere and a nice view of the North Sound. Enjoy a variety of dishes, locally sourced and simply prepared.
In conclusion…
There are many Grand Cayman restaurants to suit pretty much every taste. You will find everything from roadside BBQs and Fish Fry’s, quaint local establishments and fine dining. There is something for everyone, every meal, and every mood.
